A KIDS SACRIFICE

A SHORT STORY ON A KIDS SACRIFICE

Farhan ,Suhail and Bashir lived in a farm house at the end of the village. They were young kids aged 12 ,10 ,and six repectively They had reared many goats along with their father for Eid ul Adha. They would take them to green pastures in the hillocks every day

As Eid Ul Adha neared their father was making a deal with a animal vendor.Bashir was the youngest it was his first year at the barn.He was just six years old . HE loved the goats very much. He would sometimes pester his parents to allow him to let him sleep with them

He loved the black ram very much, Bashir would play with him and chase all about.
When the vendor called out for it he grabbed him and the ram too hugged him close to him. “Abbu this ones mine, this wont go to the vendor”, but the stern look on his fathers face made him give up. He left the ram from his arms and the ram would not move away from him. His dad got up and pulled his ear and it gave a loud bleat but would nt budge.

Then his dad pushed it but the ram started charging him with his horns. Bashir sensed victory , But the vendor got up and stopped the charging ram and shoved him in the truck .Bashir was in tears “Dad only one ram I asked” You are giving away the whole lot.

“Bashir these animals don’t belong to us we are paid for rearing them so how can I give you what is not ours” Bashir was in tears he ran inside the house weeping His mother could not bear to see his tears The vendor was still at the barn gate Farhan and Suhail too felt hurt to see their brother crying

They both ran and pleaded to their father to pay the vendor for the ram so that Bashir would be happy. The vendor quoted 3000 rupees for the ram. Rashid their dad was in no mood but the kids were begging him to bargain. Then suddenly Suhail spoke “take me and give Bashir the ram”

The vendor and their father were moved at Suhails desire to make their brother happy. Finally his father budged and paid off the vendor and bought the ram in 2000 rupees.. The ram ran off to Bashir as if hugging him Bashirs happiness knew no bounds.

As Eid Ul Adha approached because they had a sacrificial animal it was obligatory on them to sacrifice the ram. Rashid called Bshir and told him on the eve of Eid Ul Adha that tomorrow we will sacrifice your ram. Bashir was adamant, “Abba you bought it for me, you should have take another for the sacrifice” “Yeah sure I could have taken another” Rashid knew they couldnt afford another but just to explain Bashir he continued
“We should sacrifice what we love, what is beloved to us” that what Prophet Ibrahim had done He was ready to sacrifice his beloved son and we cannot give an animal for Allahswt’s sake’

Bashir was once again in tears Farhan too bit his lip there was a silent mourning in the house. In the morning the children woke up early for the Eid prayers. There was a very informative sermon, Where the whole story of sacrifice was told by the Khateeb and when he reached to the ayah where Prophet Ismail said “I am ready” Bashir told his father too Abbu” I am ready too to sacrifice my ram”

LOVE FOR ALLAH OR DUNYA

LOVE FOR ALLAH OR DUNYA- A SHORT STORY

“We will sacrifice this old bull that has helped us throughout his life”
“No! No way you can’t do that!”
“What will we do the rest of the year?” Said, the farmer’s wife..

Nisar and Sana lived in the Mayang village of Assam. Nisar and Sana both had little education because in the village it was difficult to cope with farm work and studies, but they had read Quran and were good practicing Muslims .Every year they sacrificed goats or a bull for Eid Ul Adha .They distributed the meat amongst their relatives and also among the poor.

Nisar had a bad crop that year. His earnings were greatly disturbed. He owned a few acres of land which he cultivated with rice. There were good rains and a good crop which he had cut sacked and stored in the storage. There were sudden unseasonal rains from which water seeped into the store and the good harvest was ruined. So this year they didn’t have enough profits to buy a bull or goats.

“Prophet Ibrahim had a sole son which was born at 86 years of age and he was ready to sacrifice him for the sake of Allah so why cant we give this old bull Sana” explained Nisar. “That’s exactly what I mean dear why do u want to give an old bull”. Said Sana

“All our relatives will make fun of us and we will become the talk of the village People will mock me, jeer me ,” continued Nisar. “We wont sacrifice the bull, no way !” argued Sana

Then Sana got up to her room opened her locker and brought her gold bangles and gave them to Nisar and said, “Nisar you didn’t understand what I meant, here take these bangles and sell them and get the animal to be sacrificed. We don’t sacrifice for name We don’t sacrifice for fame But we sacrifice to please Allah swt Where has the Taqwa gone ?

We have to give from what we love ,what we adore We have to crush our desires ,Ibrahim As was ready to give a son whom he adored whom he loved Subhanallah and we give a bull who is almost dead” Sana ended up in tears she saw Nisar’s eyes moist too.

Day Of Arafah

The Day of Arafat

On the 9th Dhul Hijjah all the pilgrims assemble on the plains of Arafat which is the main fardh of Hajj and it is called the wuqoof e Arafah. This is a great moment for the pilgrims when the Mercy of Allah descends upon them in abundance and their sins are forgiven and du’aa accepted. Allah, through His Compassion and Mercy, has not deprived the non-pilgrims of his mercy, but rather, shown the way to His Pleasure.

The Prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam was asked about the fast of the day of Arafah. He said, “It compensates for the (minor) sins of the past and the coming year.”
Ibne Maajah

The Prophet of Allah (sal Allahu alaihi wa sallam) said: "On this day (of Arafa) whomsoever holds his hearing, sight, and tongue (from committing sins), he will be forgiven by Allah." [Ahmad]

Muslims should say the Tahlil (La ilaha il Allah), Tasbeeh (Subhanallah) and Takbeer (Allahu Akbar). It is also recommended to do as much dua (supplication) as possible on this day, since "there is no other day on which Allah frees a larger number of His slaves from the Fire of Hell than the Day of Arafah." [Sahih Muslim]

As for the pilgrim, it is not Sunnah for him to fast on the day of ‘Arafah, because the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) did not fast on the day of ‘Arafah during the Farewell Pilgrimage. In Saheeh al-Bukhaari it is narrated from Maymoonah (may Allah be pleased with her) that the people were not sure whether the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) was fasting on the day of ‘Arafah, so she sent him some milk when he was standing in ‘Arafah, and he drank it whilst the people were looking on. Because the companions were in doubt whether the Prophet was fasting as He made dua for 6 hours weeping for the Ummah. So we can understand how important it is to seclude ourselves for duas on this day.

The Prophet (sal Allahu alaihi wa sallam) said: "The best supplication is on the day of Arafah, and the best remembrance that I and the prophets before me (made) is: "There is no god but Allah, the only true God, who has no partner. To Him belongs the kingdom (of the universe) and to Him all praises are due. And He has the power to do every thing." [Tirmidhi]

O Allah forgive each one who reads this dua and the whole Ummah O Allah guide the ummah O Allah accept the Hajj of all those assembled at your House Aameen

Dua

O Allah My eyes shed tears the moment I imagine the Kaaba in front of my eyes
My heart so attached to it
I long to visit you whenever its name is mentioned
When will I see it again, touch the walls and circumambulate around it
Ya Allah grant us the opportunity to visit your House

Aameen
---------------------------------

O Allah how we wish………..
we could be the chosen ones one to wear the ihram and walk to Mina
we could hear the echo of Labbaik with the melodious crowd
we could take our pebbles and pelt the hated one
we could lay our head on the blessed ground of Muzdalifah
we could let our tears fall in dua on the plains of Arafat
we could see the Ka'abah and perform Tawaf
we could visit the Prophets Masjid

O Allah with this ache in my heart to be among those you have called this year

Let our names be among those whom you will call next year

Aameen

10 ways For a Productive Zul HIjjah

A women has to sacrifice many times in her life
First she becomes a daughter and sacrifices for her parents and siblings
Then as a wife and daughter in law she crushes her desires
Last but not the least she sacrifices as a mother all her health, wealth and sleep and passion to her kids happiness
But the only place she forgets to sacrifice is for her Lord her Creator who bestowed her life in the best form and then made her a Blessing for her parents and then placed paradise beneath her feet and made her a Queen of her home.
This Zul hijjah lets decide to live on the way of the family of Prophet Ibrahim
قُلۡ إِنَّ صَلَاتِى وَنُسُكِى وَمَحۡيَاىَ وَمَمَاتِى لِلَّهِ رَبِّ ٱلۡعَـٰلَمِينَ

"Say:
My prayers, my sacrifice, my life and my death are all for Allah, the Lord of the Worlds.
 (Qur'an 6:162)
Don’t we say I am living just for my kids so that they grow up Or I am living just because Allah has kept my breaths moving yet Lets change our thinking

Here are 10 ways in which we can make this Zul HIjjah Productive
1) Let each day and each sacrifice we do be for the sake of the Lord of the Worlds
2) Lets us sacrifice our gossip, pleasures of geebah, wasting time and instead utilize the time in worship of Allah.
3) Let us sacrifice our sleep and invest it in tahajjud salah
4) Let us sacrifice our modern clothes For clothes which our loved by  Allah (long, loose, non transparent, not of opposite sex, not resembling any non-muslim)
5) The way we are punctual about our kids school timing water bottle n snacks and as they grow older their studied be particular that they too follow the sunnah in all aspects of their life whether it be clothes, walking, getting up in the morning or sleeping.
6)Let us sacrifice our lives ONLY for the sake of ALLAH alone to make our lives worthy and remember the words of Prophet Ibrahim each time  My prayers, my sacrifice, my life and my death are all for Allah, the Lord of the Worlds.
7) For each day of Zul hijjah decide to bring in 10 good deeds and decide to leave 10 bad deeds just as we make a list of whom we will share our meat with make this list and be firm with it.
8) Decide that my salah should increase in Khushu and rate it out of 10 each day. Learn the important parts of salah well. Sacrifice the precious time at least 10 minutes each day to improve the Quran read in the salah.
9) Concentrate on practicing various verses of the Quran. Make targets and try to achieve them.
10) Invite others too to live and die for Allah alone enjoin good and forbid wrong. Sacrifice your favourite chats to imbibe these qualities in the ummah and pray for them

So this Zul hajjah practice this and make it the mission of your life to live n die only for the sake of Allah alone

10 days Of Zul Hijjah

What should those not going for hajj do ?
Is Zul Hijjah only for those Sacrificing Animals or going for hajj
Does come annually to relish in Kababs and Biryanis

Lets see what are the virtues of these 10 days and what can we do make our first 10 days of Zul Hijjah beneficial in this life and hereafter.

IMPORTANCE OF THESE 10 DAYS IN QURAN AND HADITH
1)It is these ten days that Allaah has taken an oath by in His Book, by His saying,
"By the Dawn and by the Ten Nights." [Sooratul-Fajr 89:1-2]

2) Abdullah Ibne 'Abbãs radiyallahu anhu related that the Propht sallalahu alayhi wasallam said, "Good deeds performed on other days are not superior to those performed on these (first ten days of Zul Hijjah)." The Companions radiyallahu anhum inquired, "Not even Jihãd?" He replied, "Not even jihãd, except for that person who goes out putting himself and his wealth in danger and does not return with anything." (Bukhãri) (Aboo Dãwood, Tirmizi, Ibne
Mãjah)

3) Aboo Hurayrah radiyallahu anhu related that Rasoolullah sallalahu alayhi wasallam said, "On no days is the worship of Allah desired more than in the (first) ten days of Zul Hijjah. The fast of each of these days is equal to the fast of a whole year, and the worship of each of these nights is equal to the worship of Laylatul Qadr." (Tirmizi, Ibne Mãjah)

4) The mother of the believers, Hafsah radiyallahu anhaa reports that Rasoolullahsallalahu alayhi wasallam used to fast the (first) nine days of Zul Hijjah. (Nasã'ee, Ahmad, Aboo Dãwood)

5) Abdullah Ibne 'Umar radiyallahu anhu related that Rasoolullah sallalahu alayhi wasallamsaid, "No days are as weighty with Allah and so liked by Him for good deeds than the first ten days of Zul Hijjah. So on these days increasingly read Subhãnallah, Lã ilãha illallãh, Alhamdulillah and Allahu Akbar." (Musnad Ahmad)

As from the above verses and Hadith we can understand that these days need to be spent in absolute Ibadah and piety so InshaAllah try to 1) fast 2) pray Tahajjud 3)Repent a lot and make a lot of duas 4)remain awake at night in reading Quran ,making duas ,nafl salah ,zikr and ibadah 5 )Increase good deeds even during the day through charity etc

Virtues Of Day of Arafah and what should we do on that day will soon be posted inshaAllah

Based on a true life story

A man was crying, someone asked why, he said, "I had a son I thought i would make him read n write and would make him a great man, and gave him the best education and sent him overseas to study.

Then suddenly he became ill and doctors gave up on him. He was counting his last breaths and he said to me "Daddy bring all my certificates" He said looking at me. Abbu These are all my degrees, but you did not teach me the Quran, How shall I face Allah? I stood in front of him and in a few moments he was dead.

So many of us who care about the world so much that we forget the Hereafter. Make a firm Determination that me and my children must obey Allah and follow His commandments so that tomorrow that is hereafter we would be happy and also our children.

A true friend is the one who
remind you about Allah to you in your presence and
mentions you to Allah in your absence.

Death is like the bridge!

Death is like the bridge!
-Umme Muhammed

The one who laughs and lives this life,
Will have to cry in the afterlife,

But the one who fears and cries to Allah,
Will be in the bliss of Jannah

This life is of a very short span
You have only one Creator Why not live for Him and plan

Death will meet you only once
So why not die for Him in this chance

For the soul which loves the Lord
Death is just a bridge to bond

So let the heart break in His cause
Let every breath fulfill His laws

The one who keeps dying every moment of this life
Gets the fulfillment of this life and the afterlife

But the one who seeks enjoyment and bliss in duniya
Does not obtain anything, neither contentment nor Jannah
